First Board Member Meeting of Bigu Hydro Venture and Aalampu Jalabidhyut Bikas Company

The inaugural board member meeting
of Bigu Hydro Venture Pvt. Ltd. (Pegu Khola
Small Hydropower Project -3MW) and Aalampu Jalabidhyut Bikas Company Pvt. Ltd. (Mathillo Sagu
Khola Small Hydropower Project -10MW) was held at 8:30 am at the corporate
office in Battisputali 9, Kathmandu. The key agenda of the meeting included
project progress updates, board of directors (BoD) formation, discussions on
the way forward, and others.
The meeting focused on two significant hydropower projects:
The Pegu Khola Small Hydropower Project (3MW) under Bigu Hydro
Venture Pvt. Ltd. and the Mathillo Sagu Khola Small Hydropower Project (10MW) under
Aalampu Jalabidhyut Bikas Company Pvt. Ltd.
During the session, the board formed the BoD for both projects, appointing the following members:
- Baburam Thapa- Chairman
- Ananta Kumar Shrestha - Director
- Buddha Lal Shrestha - Director
- Gudakhar Sapkota - Director
- Naresh KC- Director
The
board members reviewed the progress of the projects to date (i.e. financial
closure, permission process of tree cutting and land acquisition, Topography
Survey etc.) and engaged in comprehensive discussions to chart the future
course of action.
