About Aviyan Microfinance:

 

Aviyan   Laghubitta   Bittiya   Sanstha   Limited.   (Aviyan Microfinance)   is   a   "D"   class   financial   institution operating nationwide, licensed by Nepal Rastra Bank under the Bank and Financial Institutions Act 2003. It was established by the Aviyan Group, which includes businessmen,    retired    government    officials,    and professionals from the banking, legal, engineering, and investment sectors.            

 

Key promoters of Aviyan Microfinance include Kumari Bank Ltd., Nepal Investment Mega Bank Ltd., and 246 individuals.  Their shared mission focuses on promoting inclusive banking in remote areas of Nepal. The institution's paid-up capital is Rs.250 million, with its head office located in Panauti Municipality, Ward No. 4, Kavreplanchok District.

 

Aviyan  Microfinance  operates  60  branch  offices  across  21  districts,  covering  seven provinces  including  Kavreplanchok,  Sindhuli,  Udayapur,  Sakhuwasawa,  Terhathum, Jhapa,  Morang,  Sunsari,  Saptari,  Siraha,  Mahottari,  Dhanusha,  Rautahat,  Chitwan, Nawalpur, Dang, Surkhet, Banke, Bardiya, Kailali, and Kanchanpur.

 

The institution provides microfinance services to more than 30,900 disadvantaged households in Nepal's mountainous and Terai regions. Its primary goal is to support low-income  households,  asset-less  individuals,  and  those  engaged  in  the  informal  sector, helping to improve their livelihoods through increased economic and income-generating activities.

 

In  addition  to  financial  services,  Aviyan  Microfinance  places  significant  emphasis  on social development, cultural promotion, educational advancement, and skill development. These efforts are carried out through its network of 60 fully operational branch offices staffed by well-trained human resources.
